Cream Cheese From Yogurt

This is so easy it's scary!! lol All you have to do is make your yogurt, and set aside 1/2 Cup. Get out a tall(ish) container(I use a 2qt piture), a colander (I use a wire one), and either a potato sack, or flour sack. I bought mine at wally world. They were 5 for 5 in the section of dish towels and cloths, and they are washable.

To set up, put out your container, stack the colander on it, and lay the "towel" in it (opened up of course).





Now pour your yogurt into it and let it sit on the counter over night. voile!! Cream Cheese!

If you are reading this letter, chances are that you were trying to find us after millions of people have disappeared. This has been left behind in the hope that whoever finds it may know what has happened. I really hope that if this is any of my family members, you will repent and turn to GOD right now. This letter may seem harsh, but it is written with love. You may or may not have any religious background, but now is probably a good time to catch up. Jude 1:21-23 says; "Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference,and others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh."

I think it is safe to say that all bets are off now and that those left behind need to be pulled from the fire of God's coming wrath.

I will say right away, that whatever the media or world leaders are saying, most likely it does not point to the awesome power of the one true GOD of heaven and earth. Make no mistake friend; this was the long awaited "RAPTURE" of the true church of Jesus Christ. Look around for a moment. Everyone missing was a true Christian. Not a churchgoer or just a good person, but only those who believed in Jesus Christ and His blood alone being the atonement for our sins. I Corinthians 15:51-53 states; "Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality." Again, I Thessalonians 4:14-17 says; "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

There are many other scriptures related to the events that have occurred, but most importantly, there are quite a few that you need to know about what is going to happen now. My intention here is to give you a briefing on just that. Of course, there is no way that I could know exactly what the impact has been on the earth since our disappearance, but I can say that there is probably great fear among all those left behind.

There has always been a debate over the Rapture being true doctrine. The debate is now over. Be especially alert to the fact that the religious leaders and possibly the televangelists may be saying that only the carnal Christians were taken to be judged. This is NOT true! You may be told that aliens took us... this is NOT true!

You may even hear that mankind has made some type of evolutionary leap or you have all been changed to gods.... This is absolutely NOT true. There is still only one true GOD!

The New Age movement people may be saying that "the christ" is coming, or has come. They may say that all those that believed in just one god, were taken to the karma plain by the 'ascended masters' for re-education. This is also NOT true!

NOTE: THE 'CHRIST' THAT THEY REFER TO IS NOT JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, BUT A CHRIST CONSCIOUSNESS OR EMBODIMENT OF SOMEONE.

If this is way off, forgive me. These were just some of the lies being told by Satan in the world before the Rapture and I can only guess that one or maybe even all of them are being propagated right now. You must know that the deception being unleashed on the world now has been foretold in the Bible over thousands of years ago. II Thessalonians 2: 6-12 states; "And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

The Church, the salt of the earth, the restraining of sin by the Holy Spirit, has been removed for the plan of GOD to come to completion and the righteous judgment on all of mankind. Satan will now be able to make his last stand against GOD and his last attempt to draw as many into worship of himself (and into hell with him) as he can. A leader will rise up among you as foretold in the books of Daniel and Revelation as well as other areas of the Bible. He will seem to have all the answers to the world's problems and he will speak great things. The Bible calls him the Antichrist or the wicked one, the son of perdition, etc..... The main idea is that if you see someone rising up to power like this, do not follow him. He will be standing for peace and harmony and may solve the conflicts around the world in an effort to band together humanity. He will take a special interest in the Nation of Israel and bring peace to the Middle East.

The book of Daniel foretold that this time would come well over 2500 years ago. Daniel 9: 24-27 "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, [that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince [shall be] seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troubled times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

The 70 weeks that are referred to are known as the "seventy seven's". A week is defined as one seven year period. That would make 490 years total until the end of the world. Obviously 490 years passed without an end. Here is the reason why. Jesus Christ, the Messiah, came into Jerusalem riding a donkey exactly 483 years from the command to rebuild Nehemiah's Temple. Then he was crucified and buried. After three days, He rose again and ascended into heaven. He came and shed His blood for the sins of the world and promised that He would return one day for all those who accepted His free gift of salvation.

Now that only covers 483 years of the prophecy. What happened to the last 7 years or the "seventieth week"? You see, GOD's prophetic timeclock, if you will, stopped when Jesus entered into Jerusalem and it had been widely known that it would start again after the Rapture of the Bride of Christ. Jesus prophesied that the temple in Jerusalem would be destroyed after He left. This happened in 70 A.D. by the Romans. Daniel was prophesied to that "the people of the prince to come" would destroy the temple. The prince to come is the Antichrist. It was widely held that he would rise out of the European Union (the revived Roman Empire) or maybe the UN, but you will have to be alert now to where he is actually coming from. Be especially attentive to the One World Religious system that is being "put together for the good of mankind". Revelation 17 and 18 will illuminate this prophecy for you. The Antichrist will most likely be lifted up by the religious system of the day, thereby making him look holy or pure.

Daniel 8: 23 describe him as "A king of fierce countenance" and say that "he shall understand dark sentences" (meaning mysteries of the occult). Read verses 23-25 very closely. At any rate, he will make a 7 year peace covenant with Israel and after 3 and a half years he will break it. Revelation 13 depicts him as a great beast rising out of the sea (an idiom for the world), then he will be wounded in the head or possibly killed. He will seemingly be 'resurrected' and the world will marvel after him. Then he will proclaim himself to be GOD and demand that he be worshipped by all the people of the world. This will occur in the rebuilt temple of Israel.

You see, Satan ultimately wants to destroy the Jews, God's chosen people, and then the Christians. We believed that Satan would actually indwell him at that point, only you will know now. No Jew or Christian will bow down to him and that will begin a period of horror on the earth that has never been before. Read Matthew 24, Luke 21, Revelation specifically 6, 12, 13, for more on this. The last 3 and a half years of his reign will be pure terror. Hitler was a great guy compared to what this man will do. He will require some kind of mark on the forehead or right hand in order to buy or sell. Really, this will just be a sign of allegiance to him.

Revelation 20: 4 states; "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Unfortunately, you will have to make a choice between GOD and Satan. If you take the Mark of the Beast, you will be damned forever. Many of you will be murdered by his followers, because you stand for Jesus Christ. Revelation 7: 13-14 says; "And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." You will, in effect, be the ones who come to salvation out of the tribulation period.

Now I don't want to get real cosmic or anything, but as I said before, only you know what is happening on the earth now. There may be mass UFO sightings or landings. The media and the government did an excellent job of desensitizing the public over the years. One of the prevailing views before the rapture, was that UFO's and aliens would probably be "the great lie" spoken of in II Thessalonions. My point is, don't believe anything that is being fed to the world through the media or the government. Cling to Jesus Christ and his saving work of atonement on the cross for your sins. Romans 10:13 says; "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Call upon his name now, you may not have another chance!

You need to find other people who now believe in Jesus Christ. Study the Bible, learn everything you can about what is coming to come on the earth. GOD is about to judge the earth and purge the sin from it.

We have gone to the Wedding Feast spoken of in Revelation 19. We will come back with Jesus when he sets up His Kingdom and reign with him for a thousand years. If you never believed any of this before, my prayer is that now you will.

This is a rather long passage but it needs to be put forth. Luke 12: 35-48 states the following; "Let your loins be girded about, and [your] lights burning; And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. Blessed [are] those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find [them] so, blessed are those servants. And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all? And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom [his] lord shall make ruler over his household, to give [them their] portion of meat in due season?

Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for [him], and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not [himself], neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes]. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [stripes]. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more."

Let the Holy Spirit speak to you about this passage. I believe that if you are still here, He is doing just that. Prepare to open up the door immediately to Jesus when He returns from the wedding feast with all His saints.

There is no way that I could cover everything that is going to happen. You will have to seek GOD and read the Bible for your instructions concerning this period in which you are entering. I hope this letter is a fire that burns throughout the land now. Make copies and get them to everyone you can. All of us are with the Father and we pray that you will join us. May the Holy Spirit come in power and save the perishing during these final hours of human history.

"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."

Home Made Yogurt

I must tell you that I got the origional recipe from My Measuring Stick (on the right)

INGREDIENTS:

-1/4 cup of store bought, active/live culture, plain yogurt. (This will be your starter. After your first batch of yogurt, you can use 1/2 cup of some of your homemade yogurt as a starter instead.)

-8 cups of whole milk, do not use ultra-pasteurized.

-3/4 Cups dry milk (optional, but it helps thicken your final product. *Thanks Jester)

-1 Cup of Sugar

-What ever frozen/fresh fruits you would like. I buy some fresh and freeze them myself (like bananas).

HOW TO MAKE DELICIOUS YOGURT

1. Pour the milk into a crock pot, and turn the crock pot on low. Leave it alone for two and a half hours.

2. Turn the crock pot off, leave the cover on, and let the milk sit for three hours.

3. Take a cup or two of the warm milk from the crock pot, and put it in a small mixing bowl. Mix in your starter, sugar and your dry milk.

4. Mix the yogurt/warm milk back into your crock pot.

5. Put the lid on the crock pot, then fold and put a heavy bath towel over the crock pot to insulate the leftover heat (leave the crock pot turned off), and go to bed.

6. The next morning, you'll have yogurt waiting for you in the crock pot.

7. Pour a 1/4 C (ish) into a separate container for your next batch, and put the rest in the fridge. You can split it up if you want to, but I just stick my whole crock pot in there. Let the yogurt fully cool down to the fridge temp. After it is nice and cold, ENJOY!!

8. I thaw frozen fruits and then mash them with a potato masher (or a fork). About 1 part fruit to 2 parts yogurt is really yummy!!


I love making my own yogurt! I get around 20 servings. A half gallon of milk costs me $1.88 so it maths out to about 10 cents plus fruit. And I know where it is coming from! WIN WIN For the BigM family!!

Tales From A Bathroom Stall

A 3-year-old tells all from his mother's restroom stall.

My little guy, Cade, is quite a talker. He loves to communicate and does it quite well. He talks to people constantly, whether we're in the library, the grocery store or at a drive-thru window. People often comment on how clearly he speaks for a just-turned- 3-year-old. And you never have to ask him to turn up the volume. It's always fully cranked. There've been
several embarrassing times that I've wished the meaning of his words would have been masked by a not-so-audible voice, but never have I wished this more than last week at Costco.

Halfway, through our shopping trip, nature called, so I took Cade with me into the restroom. If you'd been one of the ladies in the restroom that evening, this is what you would have heard coming from the second to the last stall:

'Mommy, are you gonna go potty? Oh! Why are you putting toiwet paper on the potty, Mommy? Oh! You gonna sit down on da toiwet paper now? Mommy, what are you doing? Mommy, are you gonna go stinkies on the potty?'

At this point I started mentally counting how many women had been in the bathroom when I walked in. Several stalls were full ... 4? 5? Maybe we could wait until they all left before I had to make my debut out of this stall and reveal my identity. Cade continued:

'Mommy, you ARE going stinkies aren't you? Oh, dats a good girl, Mommy! Are you gonna get some candy for going stinkies on the potty? Let me see doze stinkies, Mommy! Oh ... Mommy! I'm trying to see In dere. Oh! I see dem. Dat is a very good girl, Mommy. You are gonna get some candy!'

I heard a few faint chuckles coming from the stalls on either side of me. Where is a screaming new born when you need her?

Good grief. This was really getting embarrassing. I was definitely waiting a long time before exiting. Trying to divert him, I said, 'Why don't you look in Mommy's purse and see if you can find some candy. We'll both have some!'

'No, I'm trying to see doze more stinkies. Oh! Mommy!'

He started to gag at this point.

'Uh - oh, Mommy. I fink I'm gonna frow up. Mommy, doze stinkies are making me frow up!! Dat is so gross!!'

As the gags became louder, so did the chuckles outside my stall. I quickly flushed the toilet in hopes of changing the subject. I began to reason with myself: OK. There are four other toilets. If I count four flushes, I can be reasonably assured that those who overheard this embarrassing monologue will be long gone.

'Mommy! Would you get off the potty, now? I want you to be done going stinkies! Get up! Get up!'

He grunted as he tried to pull me off. Now I could hear full-blown laughter. I bent down to count the feet outside my door.

'Oh, are you wooking under dere, Mommy? You wooking under da door? What were you wooking at? Mommy? You wooking at the wady's feet?'

More laughter. I stood inside the locked door and tried to assess the situation.

'Mommy, it's time to wash our hands, now. We have to go out now, Mommy.'

He started pounding on the door. 'Mommy, don't you want to wash your hands? I want to go out!!'

I saw that my 'wait 'em out' plan was unraveling. I sheepishly opened the door, and found standing outside my stall, twenty to thirty ladies crowded around the stall, all smiling and starting to applaud.

My first thought was complete embarrassment, then I thought, 'Where's the fine print on the 'motherhood contract' where I signed away every bit of my dignity and privacy?' But as my little boy gave me a big, cheeky grin while he rubbed bubbly soap between his chubby little hands, I thought, I'd sign it all away again, just to be known as Mommy to this little fellow.

What is in your shampoo???

How about your deodorant, or your dish soap?? Do you know what is in that lotion that you just love to use?? I didn't. I figured that it probably wasn't real good, but after all, they have to test the stuff for safety right?? WRONG!! A friend gave me the link to a cosmetic data base (which I added to my links on the right) and WOW!! all I can say is...WOW!! I am stunned!

I have been telling friends and family for awhile now about how the food industry puts all kinds of things in their products. Most Americans are very ignorant of the fact that the FDA corrupted, and we are paying the price. Especially our kids. We put lotions and shampoos and conditioners on our skin (which is a giant absorbing organ) while we are pregnant, and then pump our babies and kids full of artificial dyes, additives, and "preservatives", and then we can not figure out why things like ADHD, Autism, Cancers of various types are on the rise! Wake up people!!! Stop putting crap in your bodies!!!

WE need to do everything we can, everywhere we can, to eliminate this stuff from our routines and diets, and keep it up!! Try it, watch the withdrawal symptoms you AND your kids will go through! Making your own stuff is not that hard, and not that time consuming if you plan ahead. You will feel such a sense of accomplishment, and satisfaction knowing that you are doing better for your families.

JAY LENO ON PATHETIC NEGATIVITY

I hope you will all read this to the end. Jay Leno puts it into perspective and makes us think about the pathetic negativity. That's right, Jay Leno!!

'The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true, given the source, right?

The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed, and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the President.

In essence, 2/3's of the citizenry just ain't happy and want a change. So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, ''What are we so unhappy about?''

Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter?

Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job?

Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time, and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?

Maybe it is the ability to drive from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each state?

Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter?

I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough.

Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and Provide services to help all, and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.

Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home. You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames thus saving you, your family and your belongings.

Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes, an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss.

This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where 90 percent of teenagers own cell phones and computers.

How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world?

Maybe that is what has 67 percent of you folks unhappy.

Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen.

No wonder the world loves the U.S., yet has a great disdain for its citizens.

They see us for what we are.

The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don't have, and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.

I know, I know. What about the President who took us into war and has no plan to get us out?

The President who has a measly 31 percent approval rating?

Is this the same President who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11?

Is this same President that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession?

Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks?

The Commander-In Chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me?

Did you hear how bad the President is on the news or talk show?

Did this news affect you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn't take a look around for yourself and see all the good things and be glad?

Think about it...are you upset at the President because he actually caused you personal pain OR is it because the 'Media' told you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day.

Make no mistake about it. The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have died for your freedom.

There is currently no draft in this country.

They didn't have to go.

They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ''general'' discharge, an ''other than honorable'' discharge or, worst case scenario, a ''dishonorable'' discharge after a few days in the brig.

Why the hell then the flat-out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans?

Say what you want, but I blame it on the media.

If it bleeds, it leads; and they specialize in bad news.

Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts.

How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner?

The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations.

They offer what sells, and when criticized, try to defend their actions by 'justifying' them in one way or another.

Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson to write a book about 'how he didn't kill his wife, but if he did he would have done it this way'...Insane!

Stop buying the negativism you are fed very day by the media.

Shut off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage.

Then start being grateful for all we have as a country.

There is exponentially more good than bad.

We are among the most blessed people on Earth, and should thank God several times a day or at least be thankful and appreciative.

'With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks,

'Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?'

Thoughts on integrity...

Have you ever noticed that when you are trying to teach your kids a biblical lesson, you suddenly see how it applies to you too?? Then you have to decide, do I ignore the fact that this applies to me (at least in front of the kids), or do I use myself as an example, and try to teach them from the error of my ways?? I use myself as the example, but I'm tempted to pretend I'm perfect every time. I think we all want to be perfect in the eyes of our children, but I also think to do that is folly. We aren't perfect beings, that is why we need Christ in our lives to begin with. No one can keep that facade for ever, and when it falters, where will your kids be then?

The same applies to lying to your kids. Take for example the tooth fairy, the easter bunny, and yes, even santa clause. Eventually they will know the truth. Where does that leave God? Where does that leave your integrity in your child's eyes? It causes them to wonder about the truth of God when they shouldn't have had to. Take the time to ponder that.

On another note...

Did you notice my new ticker?? That's right! in just over five weeks, I will have my reversal surgery!! I'm so excited I just can't even stand it!! If you are curious about where I'm going or the Dr I have chosen, the link to his site is on the right. To be honest I'm more nervous about the logistics of traveling then the actual surgery itself. I don't like things to be up in the air. I like to have a good plan, and deviate if I need to, then to have no plan and have to wing it. prayers for the travel and surgery are greatly apprieciated!
